We are very pleased to welcome foreign students in “classe internationale”. They will spend one or two semesters in graphic design ( visual communication, typography, illustration, engraving, bookbinding, fench,…)

Here is a testimony of a Canadian student who spent a semester last year at Ecole Estienne.
«In spring 2012, I had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange with the ‘Ecole Supérieure Estienne’ in Paris, in the framework of my studies in graphic design. I had the pleasure of living in this beautiful city for three months, and studying in one of the best schools of art and graphic design in France. This student exchange was the most rewarding experience of my life, both personally and intellectually. I had the chance to be part of an Erasmus class , and thus interact with people from all over Europe and even South America.
During my stay at ‘École Estienne’, I learned many things that I would not have learned otherwise, for their training focuses more on practical applications for creation than at AhuntsicCollège. For instance, I've learned calligraphy, lino and how to use manual printing presses, all the things that I would not have had the opportunity to learn here. In fact, everything I learned during my training in Paris is complementary to what I studied in my training as a graphic designer in Ahuntsic. The courses I followed and students that I worked with have brought me a new approach to graphic design. We really learn a lot from others, but we also learn a lot about ourselves. I would have liked this exchange to last longer, but we have to get back to reality at some point. Anyway,  I think everyone should be given the chance to live such an enriching experience in their life. I must say that I'm already thinking about renewing this experience as soon as possible.»
